FAQ's- frequently asked questions

below are commonly asked questions about the process and what to expect when staging a vacant home for sale.

1. How do i request a staging quote and is there a fee?

To request a staging quote please fill out our free staging request form. if we are able to view photos of the property online or by email, then we can provide you with an accurate estimate upfront without viewing the home. If there are special circumstances, then we will need to view the home to provide an accurate quote. there may be a small fee charged upfront for our time and travel and we will then be happy to apply the fee to your staging if you hire us to stage the home. *We now also offer standard package options based on the size of home and rooms required.

2. How long does it take to stage a home?

An average timeline is 5-7 business days from the time the contract is signed. It all depends on our calendar, inventory levels and also if we need to order any furniture for your stage. we do our best to stage your property just as quickly as possible and that's assuming your home is already "stage ready".

3. Can I pick out the furniture? Do I have a say at all in the selections?

home staging is not the same service as interior Design. our talented and certified stagers/designers have been extensively trained to stage homes to appeal to a wide buyer demographic. Which is often not the same as the sellers personal taste. We do market research for each property that we stage and then tailor our staging plan to your individual property's needs. We "stage to the home" which means we stage to your homes strengths and minimize its weaknesses. We know exactly how to stage your home to stand out from the competition!  If you have a special request, please let us know during your consultation and we will do our best to accommodate you within reason.

4. Do I have to pay upfront?

Yes. your deposit must be paid at the time you accept our staging proposal and sign your agreement which secures your staging date. then the final balance must be paid in full 2 days prior to the staging date. we begin working on packing and prepping for your project in advance, that is why we require payment upfront. we will not load the truck for delivery if full payment has not been received by the deadline. and the staging may be rescheduled to the next available staging date.

What our customers are saying

I recently sold an investment home staged by Michelle. I called her and she was able to give me an estimate on the cost of the staging without even seeing the home. I am located out of town, so she also agreed to hire a contractor for some cosmetic fix ups and a whole exterior paint. Michelle picked the paint colors and coordinated all of the work on the house. It was by far the easiest way I have ever sold a house. The house sold quickly, and I believe the staging was key in the quick sale. Michelle communicates with you every step of the way. She went above and beyond to answer any questions I had about the condition of the house, as well as provided some great cost-effective ways to enhance the homes appearance. The house looked beautiful when she was done staging. She exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to recommend her and would most definitely use her services again.
